Welcome to our first DenAliLove newsletter!! We're excited to present our first newsletter through the magic of the Internet! In gratitude for your continued support and friendship, this is our way to give something special back to you. Our newsletter was created just for you and we welcome your comments and suggestions for future issues. This premier issue is longer than the rest will be since it's our first, and we hope you'll take the time to read it at your leisure - perhaps while enjoying a cup of hot coffee or tea, and the enchanting sounds of Enigma or Enya on your CD player. Each issue will feature a Q&A section where Dennis and Alice will answer questions about twin souls, relationships, communications with loved ones on the other side, and whatever else you'd like to ask! "Dennis' Corner" is where Dennis will personally provide you with insights about life as it has been shown to him. We look forward to hearing from you and may print your own special "twin soul" stories, meditation experiences, your personal connections with the other side, and whatever else you'd like to share. If you've attended a Messages From Beyond Circle or had a private reading during the past 1-1/2 years, then you're familiar with Alice's Intuitive Spirit Art. With permission from the person it was drawn for, we'll be showcasing one special picture in each newsletter. We'll also feature news about our upcoming events and appearance schedule with links to our web site. You can expect to receive a newsletter at least once each month, or more often, depending on the feedback and contributions. Our goal is to create a newsletter community that will enable and encourage people of like minds to come together and share their spiritual experiences in a safe environment. For the past year, we've hosted a metaphysical discussion group in our home for 18 people who came together for that very reason...to be in a safe space to share feelings and thoughts with people of like minds. While some friends or family members thought they were crazy, or "woo-woo" as we like to call it, our group members met each week and formed an incredibly close and trusting bond. That initial group was formed within 1 hour simply by sending out an email to our local mailing list. And, that's how our "newsletter family" is being created now. We invite you to share this with your friends, and they'll share it with their friends, and so on... We look forward to connecting with you and your loved ones! Ask Dennis & Alice  Q: I continue to look for my "twin soul" however I am not sure we are going to find each other in this lifetime. My question is this: Do twin souls always recognize each other and is it always a mutual recognition? I don't believe I'm with "the one" right now. A: First, I have to say that just the fact you are asking "is this the one" tells me that the answer is probably no. However, I try to never get into making judgments because, as you know, I believe "everything is perfect, and things happen in the perfect time". The twin soul recognition is not always mutual. When you meet your twin, you will see a mirror reflection of yourself, and if one person is not content with who he or she is, or is not as spiritually evolved as the other, the reaction may be to repel rather than to attract. Keep in mind the concept of "next-of-twin", which is a soul mate so close to the twin, you may feel "this is the one" when it actually is not. That is explained in greater detail in Alice's section of our book, Together Again: Twin Souls Reunite in Love and Life. With that said, I believe you are going through a "learning relationship" Actually there is nothing to learn, because as a part of God we already know everything there is to know; we just forgot it when we came into this life. And because we forgot everything, we have to experience it to remember what we already know. Hope I haven’t confused the issue too much. By "learning relationship" I mean that you are learning what it is you don't want in a long-term relationship, and at the same time you are learning what you do choose to have in a healthy unconditional commitment with a loving partner. Right now I sense you have gone through this learning period because "the one" is just around the corner, but you have to have closure on the relationship you are currently in before that can happen. As Alice always says, "close the door, seal, it caulk it, and be sure nothing of the old can come in again!" Only then can you move on to the next adventurous relationship. Hope this helps...Dennis Q: I need to know where my twin soul is, as I think I have seen her in meditation and a name was given to me. A: To answer your question about your twin soul...only you can be given those answers directly from your own guides and soul. I suggest a meditation if you want specific details...even during a reading Dennis would never give such personal details to anyone. You'll know when you've connected with your twin soul because you will immediately feel it in your heart, in your gut, and in your soul...and so will she. There will be an instant recognition through the eyes, the touch, or even the sound of her voice. You will experience such a feeling of comfort and a knowing that you've been together before. That is the "soul recognition" described in Together Again. Once the relationship begins, there will be no feelings of guilt, jealousy, or worry. A twin soul love is the ultimate unconditional love. The name is not important right now...neither are the physical attributes. The name you heard in a mediation may be a name you know from a prior lifetime...don't dwell on that. Do let us know when you've found her! And best wishes...Alice Q: What’s the difference between a psychic and medium? Should I see a medium or a psychic to find out what’s going on with my feelings and happening events? A: That’s a good question...not all psychics are mediums; not all mediums are psychics. A medium speaks to those who have crossed over. A psychic can tell you about past, present and future events. A psychic/medium is able to do both. It is important to go into a reading without any expectations. When we do readings, often the loved ones on the other side give valid information about ongoing events in your life. Actually, your best tool is yourself. Meditate and look within for your own answers. A good psychic will generally confirm what you already know in your heart, and what your soul already knows. As for medium work, Dennis is able to connect with people on the other side, whether they be loved ones, friends, or spirit guides. Again, and here especially, don't have any expectations. Just relax and be open to receive the messages that are meant to come through. Finding a medium who is right for you is not an easy task, and should not be done lightly. You must give permission to both the medium and to the loved one's spirit you are seeking to contact. If there is someone specific you wish to contact, you may give that name without any other details. However, be prepared for anyone to come through...they come with love and never without a reason. |

Life Is an Illusion - Why Bad Things Happen to Good People Welcome friends! Welcome to our first issue of “The DenAliLove Newsletter” and welcome to my corner. It is my pleasure to be talking to each and every one of you through this medium (pun intended). In each issue I will take an opportunity to share with you something I have learned in the course of my adventure while learning more about life on the other side and here. I will try to give you things to think about and insights on subjects that concern each of us everyday. First let me say thank you for taking the time to read these words. Thank you (as an old friend used to say) “for showing up”. - The Illusion We Call Life - The truth about this thing we call life is that it is just an illusion. We plan it from beginning to end, every moment, every “good” thing and every “bad” thing. We are all here by our own choice and no one made us do this. Nothing is by accident; there are no accidents or coincidences. We chose to be here to experience life completely. Our souls utilized the free will we have on the other side before birth as humans. Life as it is, even in its apparent imperfection, is perfect. We chose to be here and we continue to choose to be here as we go through each and every day of our existence Along with choosing to come into life and all the events in it, we even got to choose when we leave this life as well as how we leave. We selected our parents and the family we would join in this life. So, in actuality we chose our gene pool and we have no one to blame except ourselves. We also have no one but ourselves to thank when things seem to be going right. What I am saying is you have the power to make your life better or worse (in human judgment terms) right there inside of you. You can simply choose to have a better life and put it into action. If you say you are choosing a better life, but inside you really don’t believe it, it will NOT become truth for you. You must know and believe in your heart, mind and soul it is true and then it will be so. We can finally become totally free when we realize life is here for our enjoyment, enlightenment and experience. We take control when we realize life is only as good or bad as we make it. Therefore, by letting go and surrendering, we take control. Do you get it? By choosing to enjoy the life you have, you are surrendering to the power of your plan. The plan that you, as God, designed and no matter what you do, you can't fail; you can only complete the journey perfectly. However, surrendering doesn’t in any way mean giving up. By surrendering you will have acknowledged yourself as the Creator and will actually become stronger. If you accept the idea you planned your life from beginning to end, then you have no control over your life, correct? This is absolutely correct. However, we must feel we can change our life at any given moment and that we have total control. Therefore, we gave ourselves what I call the “illusion of free will”. The illusion of free will is a fact for me. There is no free will in this life. The free will took place when we were planning our life while still on the other side. We alone decided at that moment, while we had the free will to choose anything, what would happen from the beginning of this life to its end. Just think about it, logically. When you go on a long trip do you just get in the car and drive? Do you just go to the airport and get on a plane? Do you just get on any means of transportation and “go”? No, you plan it. You sit down with the other people in your life -- family, friends or loved ones -- and plan the trip. The same holds true for coming into this life except, unlike your trip with family or loved ones, you don’t know what experiences you are going to have while you are here. This is because we have to get here by donning the “cloak of forgetfulness”. This cloak is like wearing a suit of clothes that covers everything and causes us to forget everything we have planned and everything on the other side. Some Native Americans called this cloak a veil and believe a person passes through the veil as he or she returns to Spirit. I have been shown that we wear this cloak all of our lives and it is only removed when we cross back to the other side. In this way we can experience each life exactly as we planned it and there are no disappointments, wrong turns or mistakes. There are also no "what if's". When we travel through life and it seems like nothing is going right, we have chosen to experience life in this way. If instead we choose to believe or know life is truly pre-ordained and decide to live accordingly, life suddenly becomes easier to deal with. This is because we have chosen to “go with the flow” and not fight our planned path. You have to understand you can never get off or change your path in this life. You will never fail to complete the path exactly as it was planned. Now believe me, I would love to think I have complete free will in this life but just consider: if in fact there were free will, there would be nothing but total chaos. If you could do what you want, then no one would have a conscience. Everyone would be unguided, lost, wandering around and accomplishing nothing. I say again, it is my contention and my belief that our free will stopped at the entrance to this life. We are all guided and following a distinctly unalterable and unchangeable path. Everything is laid out in a perfect order and nothing happens by chance. We are here to experience life in all its perfection and not fight what we have chosen for ourselves. Such is the explanation for fate and destiny and the only plausible reason why bad things happen to good people. Until next time, I wish you peace and send you hugs.....Dennis |

Featured Art by Alice -- "Katrina Kangaroo"  This drawing was made on March 7, 2003, during a public Circle at Vision Quest Educational Center in Everett, WA. The last portion of a Circle is the time set aside for questions from people who have not yet received specific messages. It was during this Q&A session when Katrina asked about her sister that I began drawing this picture. Katrina's sister Leah was delivering loving messages from the other side through Dennis and through my art. We all saw a kangaroo in this picture, and it appeared to be holding an orange ball. Leah told Dennis to say it was a pumpkin. I then asked about Leah's birthday, which Katrina told us was just before Halloween. Katrina also told us that she used to be called “Katrina Kangaroo”. Each piece's ID# contains the date it was drawn and the order in which the reading came through.
