About Alice
Alice Best Jackson is a "recovering divorce lawyer", abstract artist, author, proud Mom & Grandma, and classic Aquarian. An experienced Family Law attorney and certified mediator, Alice received an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest professional level attainable based on her years of experience in Family Law and the endorsement by her colleagues in the areas of professional conduct, ethics and ability. She is licensed as an attorney in Florida and Colorado (now on retired inactive status), and in 1997 she was sworn in as a member of the Bar of the U.S. Supreme Court, when she and Dennis had the privilege and honor to meet with the Justices of the Supreme Court, including Sandra Day O’Connor and Ruth Bader Ginsberg.
Following her graduation from the University of Miami Law School, Alice was hired by Janet Reno in 1986 and proudly served two years as an Assistant State Attorney in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Alice opened her own law office in 1988, specialized in family law, and created a successful law practice. She is a past member of the International Alliance of Holistic Lawyers and used holistic principles in dealing with her clients' cases. She found it more rewarding to work with people and assist them in solving their own problems, thus enabling them to regain control and power over their own lives without placing blame on anyone.
During her legal career, in addition to representing clients from all walks of life, Alice served as co-vice chair of the Ethics Committee of the Florida Bar, was on the board of directors of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, and was a certified mediator in family law. She also held the position as a Miami-Dade County Civil Traffic Infraction Hearing Officer from January 1996 through March 1999.
In 1999, upon the publication of Together Again: Twin Souls Reunite in Love and Life, Alice made a major life decision to close her law office and retire from the active practice of law to follow her dream and travel full-time with her twin soul, Dennis. She has never regretted that decision, and the rest is history! Dennis and Alice traveled extensively from 1999 through 2014, while maintaining their home base in Washington state, where they now reside. Alice is active in community non-profit organizations, including AAUW (American Association of University Women), and the Stanwood-Camano Arts Guild, where she serves as the Guild’s secretary.
Intuitive Spirit Art Designs began in 2001 when Alice’s doodling morphed into abstract designs for the individual being read. Now called Imagery from Beyond — Art by Ali Abstracts, it is automatic drawing created during private readings and Messages from Beyond® events, and featured in Imagery From Beyond Coloring Book Series for Grownups. Alice began using automatic writing for her personal spiritual growth in 1982, and now receives messages via her own intuitive process, and offers her experience and guidance to others. Combining her own energy with that of Dennis, Alice serves as a listener and grounder of positive energy in the room. The messages in her drawings are her interpretation of the information coming through and are shared with each person as part of the reading process. Drawings are created during private readings, and for each person who receives readings at group events and TeleCircles.
